The group, itself, was founded by Penny Hazen in 2006 after working 30 years as a counselor in middle schools for youth and their parents dealing with various issues in their lives. Since completion of her coach training with Dave Ellis in California, Penny has devoted her time to develop a successful coaching business. She partners with other coaches to provide coaching primarily for adults. Hazen Life Coaching focuses on issues that clients bring to the table. Many small business owners and sales men and women have increased their income while improving their life styles. Hazen Life Coaching has successfully coached clients experiencing transition in their lives to redefine their future.
Our focus on prosperity is grounded in a Spiritual Foundation influenced by the church, teachings of Abraham and the Law of Attraction, and teacher/coach Elyse Hope Killoran. The spiritual emphasis is not about a particular religion as each client expresses his/her own religious preferances which are honored. However, clients are encouraged to develop spiritual practices such as meditation, prayer, religious study, journaling or other habits which bring Spiritual development into his/her daily life. From this spiritual grounding, guidance and inspired actions emerge which carry the individual forward and the Universe brings new ideas and possibilites leaving the client with a sense of joy and ease.
Ms. Hazen completed her education at Appalachian State University (BA), Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wake Forest University (MAEd) and the School of Coaching from Falling Awake (CLC). She is currently in the 2009-10 Money, Marketing, and Soul Platinum Breakthrough Program led by the highly successful coach Elyse Hope Killoran of Prosperity from the Inside Out. Ms. Hazen lives in Winston-Salem, NC with her husband and two young adult children. She is active in her community and has served in leadership of her church. She serves as a coach and on the board of the national nonprofit One to One~Women Coaching Women. She is also a part of the healing community Co-Creative Evolution founded by Sandy Phocas in Winston-Salem.
